By accessing or using IngrediScan.Ai (the app at ingrediscan-ai.vercel.app or this website at ingrediscan.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

IngrediScan.Ai is operated by Kowshek Iyyappan and Kavin, based in Tamil Nadu, India ("we", "us", or "our").

IngrediScan.Ai is an AI-powered ingredient analysis tool. You upload a photo of a product label and our AI identifies and evaluates the ingredients for potential health concerns. The service supports food, personal care, and supplement products.

IngrediScan.Ai does not support prescription or OTC medicines. If a medicine is detected, the scan will be rejected. For any medication-related questions, consult a licensed pharmacist or doctor.

The free tier allows 3 scans per device. This limit is enforced both client-side (browser storage) and server-side (by IP address). Attempting to bypass the limit — including by clearing browser storage, using VPNs, or automating requests — is a violation of these terms.

Paid plans, pricing, and billing terms will be published separately when the paid tier launches. Joining the waitlist does not constitute a purchase or create any payment obligation.

All analysis results are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical, dietary, or health advice. Results are generated by an AI model and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

Do not make health, dietary, allergy, or treatment decisions based solely on IngrediScan.Ai results. Always read the full product label and consult a qualified healthcare professional when in doubt.

We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any analysis result. Ingredient safety assessments reflect general population data and may not account for your individual health conditions or sensitivities.

You agree not to:

— Automate or script requests to the scan endpoint beyond normal personal use.

— Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service in bulk.

— Circumvent usage limits, CORS restrictions, rate limits, or any security measure.

— Upload images that do not contain product ingredient labels (e.g. personal photos, documents, or harmful content).

— Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

— Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute analysis results without our written permission.

The IngrediScan.Ai name, logo, app design, and all original content on this website are owned by us and protected under applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission.

The AI analysis results returned to you are yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. We retain no ownership claim over your uploaded images; they are not stored by us.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind — express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or complete.

We are not liable for any decisions made based on ingredient analysis results, including adverse health outcomes, allergic reactions, or dietary choices.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IngrediScan.Ai and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim (or ₹0 if you are on the free tier).

By joining the waitlist, you consent to receive one or more emails from us about the IngrediScan.Ai launch. We will not spam you or share your email with third parties. You can opt out at any time by emailing us at kowshekiyyappan@gmail.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these terms — without notice or liability.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

For material changes, we will notify waitlist members by email where reasonably possible.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of IngrediScan.Ai shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
